Welcome to my 2018-19 Humanities Portfolio!
This site was created as a means of showcasing my work from this year in the humanities program. My work is separated into three different sections as indicated by the three categories in the top menu. The three categories in the menu are:
- Definitions: This section includes my personal definitions of revolution and the Humanities.
- Academic Work: This section includes assignments selections from my coursework such as my research paper on Malevich’s Black Square and a combination of two my essays on conceptual schemes and the Rwandan Genocide.
- Further Writings: Contains more informal writings by me on a variety of topics related to the Humanities, including a piece on Shostakovich’s 5th symphony, an essay on my personal experience as a 3rd culture kid, and a review of Yinka Shonibare’s The American Library.
All the material will include their own citations on the page. Furthermore, you can visit the Permissions page to learn more.
Lastly, I would like to thank all the brilliant Humesters and professors who I have gotten to know this year. I have enjoyed every single unit, trip, and lecture. I am grateful for the Humanities program not only for the knowledge that I have gained, but also for the lessons I have learned.
